Parting is such sweet sorrow. I've had exactly one summer with this big boat and I've absolutely loved it. I spent $1,700 for the car and another $800 setting it right but it's done and it's mine. Is it a forever car? Maybe. It handles predictably like crap but it's so damned reliable. She's a faithful road companion.

Here she is all cleaned up. I'm storing it in a heated, locked parking garage for $50/month. Hells yeah!

This is Peggy's new room mate! A 1970 Karmann Ghia with 914 wheels.

Here she is all tucked in for the winter. Somehow this car looks even bigger when covered with a tarp. Til next season! Find me at C&C Toronto in April.

SOON!!!

Good thing we postponed anyways. I was supposed to be in Brantford at 8 and due to Toronto traffic, just made it without stopping. Things were alright...then the DVP happened and the traffic was bad until the 403.

Drive back today was a beauty though, clear skies little traffic sailed right on through.
